Privacy Policy

DocConvertPro is an online PDF and image processing service operated by Tanish Patel, based in India. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at tanishpatel7766@gmail.com.

We do not store your files. Files uploaded to DocConvertPro are processed entirely in server memory or a temporary location and are permanently and automatically deleted immediately after your download is ready — typically within seconds.

We do not read the content of your files. We do not use your files for training, analytics, or any purpose beyond the specific processing operation you requested.

We recommend against uploading files containing highly sensitive data (passwords, financial records, legal documents) to any online service. For such documents, consider using offline software.

If you create an account, we collect and store:

• Your name and email address (provided at registration)
• A securely hashed version of your password (we cannot read your actual password)
• Your subscription status (free or premium) and plan expiry date
• Account creation timestamp

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at tanishpatel7766@gmail.com. All account data will be permanently removed within 7 business days.

Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments, a third-party payment gateway. DocConvertPro does not store any card numbers, CVV codes, or banking credentials. Cashfree's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled: cashfree.com/privacy-policy.

We store a record of your order ID, plan type, and payment status to activate your Premium access.

We use the following minimal cookies and local storage:

• Authentication cookie — an HTTP-only, secure cookie containing your session token after login. This expires in 7 days and is never accessible to JavaScript.
• Theme preference — saved in localStorage to remember your light/dark mode preference. No personal data.
• Premium token — if you used our legacy token-based access, this is stored in localStorage for convenience. No personal data.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking services.

Like most web servers, we automatically log basic request data including IP addresses, browser type, and requested URLs. This data is used solely for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues. It is retained for a maximum of 30 days and is never shared.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except in these limited circumstances:

• Payment processing: Cashfree Payments receives order information necessary to process your payment.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by applicable law or a valid court order from an Indian court of competent jurisdiction.

All data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (a one-way function) before storage. Authentication uses secure, HTTP-only cookies to prevent XSS attacks.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no online system can guarantee 100% security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Object to processing of your data

DocConvertPro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its associated rules. For users in the European Economic Area, we comply with applicable GDPR requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. For significant changes, we will notify registered users via email where possible.
